"The Masks We Wear"

From September 13, 2015 09:30 until September 13, 2015 16:30

You will never know who You Truly are unless You shed who You Pretend to be

After our successful Day for Men in May, we are holding another Day in the historic surroundings of Glencree Reconciliation Centre, Co Wicklow.

The theme for this day is "The Masks we Wear".

A lot of the time we hide by wearing a mask which projects to that world that all is well and that we are in control. The reality behind the mask is often very different, and we can feel disconnected and alone with the inner struggle of our lives. It can be a very liberating and supportive experience for men to be able to say how they really are, and be listened to and accepted without judgement.

All men are warmly welcomed to this day;

To share and listen deeply to one another,

To reflect on some of the ideas put forward,

To share food and friendship together.

Time: The day begins at 10am sharp. Registration from 9:30am (with Tea/Coffee) and ends at 4:30pm.

Cost:  €45 [payable on the day] includes a Light Lunch and Tea/Coffee throughout the day.

            [Concessions available if required.]

Testimonial from the last event in May:

"The day, set in beautiful natural surroundings... facilitated a coming together of 'good honest men'. This was a day of 'grounding' fellowship, which is unlikely to be experienced in our normal social, sporting and personal lives. Thanks to Males Ireland for a memorable day"
